Now that this high-end touchphone has been out for a little while, the price of the LG KM900 Arena has gone from being a device purely for the premium owner to something a little more competitive. To find the best from the pick of mobile phone deals, a good place to go is Omio.com.
They have a great comparison table of all the LG Arena deals accross the major networks and retailers, and also have a wide selection of free gift offers and cashback incentives for those eager to make their money go a little further.
The Arena, as with a number of LG phones these days, runs on the S-Class user interface yet is not a smartphone in the traditional sense of offering applications, updates and a level of customisation.
The LG Application Store has launched just recently in the Far East, but the programs available on it are only for Windows Mobile, more of a legitimate smart phone format as opposed to the proprietary platform.
However, with a lot of retailers discounting the handset heavily, you are likely to pick up a bargain on pay monthly, prepat and SIM-free deals alike.
Omio, the mobile phone comparison site have unearthed a cool video of a hands-on demo of everyone’s favourite LG Arena. It’s not just your common or garden, “click here to send a message”, oh no, it’s much more than that. The video goes to show you how to set an alarm, set favourite contacts and images and sync music from your PC. The LG Arena seems as intuitive and easy to navigate as everyone hoped, great news!

Omio, the mobile phone comparison site, has just published a post detailing the exact details of the release of the latest LG handset. But hold on there are conflicting accounts with eXpanys and mobiles.co.uk both announcing different dates! eXansys has the date of 10th of April while mobiles.co.uk announce the KM900 release on the 27th. Either way, assuming one of these is the right date, then we’ll be able to get our hands on the Arena at long last.
As a brief overview the comparison is very useful but does not address the overall experience of either phone. The UI of the LG Arena blows the Viewty out of the window, making it a much more sophisticated phone. However the Viewty 2 will comes with S-Class UI, narrowing the field between both phones.
