The Viewty II was announced this week in a LG event held in the Netherlands. Unfortunately there were no photos but there was a handy press release. That’s not enough to sate the apetitie of tech journos. There was considerable interest as the Viewty was such a popular phone,  as Ernest Doku Of Omio.com wrote of LG Viewty KC910:

The KC910 is a phone of firsts for LG, as it sports an 8 megapixel camera with Schneider Kreuznach optics and a xenon flash, it’s their first handset to take advantage of Dolby Mobile technology and Wi-Fi, and is puported to be the thinnest super cameraphone on the market at a sliver under 14mm thick.

The new LG Viewty II will include all the great features of the Viewty as well as some surprisng new ones such as the 3D S-Class UI, the one that has got everyone all excited about. To recap, the 3D-S Class Interface gives the user a true 3D experience. Instead of navigating flat screens, a user can acess points on a three dimensional cube and can even spin the cube on its axis to access different areas of the menu.

The LG Viewty II is bound to be even more popular than its original incarnation especially with the addition of the much anticipated 3D S-Class Interface which will set it apart. Can’t wait to finally see one when it’s released.
