LG Arena - Why So Good?

February 24th, 2009

Well, let me tell you..

The Arena is a true multimedia phone with a unique 3D S-Class User Interface.

It’s the first phone to use Dolby Mobile from Dolby Laboratories, Inc. for top of the range surround sound for great music quality.

The unique UI makes the most out of touchscreen technology and stops you wasting time on unneeded menus and applications. Designed around a 3d cube, the layout provides for a customisable home screen that you can then flick and scroll with a finger. Four multiple screens equates to four times more menu shortcuts.

The large 3.0-inch touch screen has WVGA resolution which is four times as sharper than QVGA and the result is the clearest LCD screen available on any mobile phone handset. All this adds up to make the LG Arena capable of watching DVD quality DivX or Xvid movies on the go.

The phone also supports all sorts of Google Mobile Services like Google search, Google Maps, GMail and Google Blogs with GPS and geo-tagging. The dimensions, 105.9 x 55.3 x 11.95 mm, are pretty sleek and add in the LG Arena’s refined metal casing and you’ve got a pretty nice little package on your hands.

Check out the video evidence.
