It’s battle of the touch screens, it’s an old refrain, one that we will no doubt continue to hear as handset manufacturer battle it out for the smart phone top spot. Internal memory
LG Arena - 8 GB internal memory
Omnia HD - 8 or 16 GB internal memory
The Omnia is a superior media phone with a better audio player and camera. The Samsung Omnia has more potential internal memory as it can be upgraded to 16GB whereas 8GB is the highest level of memory available on the LG Arena.
The Samsung Omnia is slighter larger than the LG Arena and weighs more. However the Omnia has a much bigger screen than the LG Arena.
The LG Arena has superior HSDPA and Wi-Fi, meaning over all internet connectivity is better on the LG Arena.
Although the Omnia HD beats the LG Arena in certain areas it is no means a clear victory for the Omnia HD. The LG Arena still is superior to the Omnia in certain ways, most noticeably its design which (in my opinion) is superior to the Omnia. The only area where the Omnia truly tounces the Arena is with its camera. However, the camera is not often a priority for all mobile phone users and although the Arena can’t match the Omnia HD in terms of its megapixels, 5 megapixels is still an impressive amount for the Arena to have.
‘The Samsung Omnia has more potential internal memory as it can be upgraded to 16GB whereas 8GB is the highest level of memory available on the LG Arena.’
The Arena is expandable beyond 16Gb by MicroSD card. Strange you did not mention this.
LG Arena has DivX and WMV etc, just as the Omnia. Why not mention this?
