3D S-Class UI on LG Cookie

lg_cooky_005-537x1024LG have developed a really cool UI for the KM900, the 3D S-Class but why confine it to only one handset? Well, those kind folks at LG are trying to spread the 3D S-Class love by bringing out a whole raft of new handsets that include the S-CLass UI. The new Viewty 2 will include the S-Class UI, and LG have just announced that their Cookie handset, the KP500 will also come with it.

    Hello, this phone looks pretty cool, i’m just concerned that it is proprietary OS so you won’t have 3rd party apps like iphone and windows mobile ??

    The lack of third party apps is an issue and the lack of support that they gave phones like the Viewty is a worry. Nevertheless, the fact that they have supposedly spent 100 man hours developing the S-Class UI means that it will be available across the entire range of LG handsets and have top 1st party support…for now.

    Thanks! Also do you know what browser it will use ? I believe it supports Java for internet surf… does it also support flash ?
