Mobile Content is King Says New Survey

Content is the most important thing consumers want when they buy a phone. Price and design were considered less important in a new independent survey by GetJar Networks.
It seems that 70 per cent of us consider content to be the most important factor, more so than price and design, when we buy a new handset.
Brand and the UI are still the two most influential factors for consumers and 12 per cent of people thought that the apps on a new phone were extremely important.
Ilja Laurs, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of GetJar Networks said,
“While the phone’s user interface and brand prove to be dominant factors for deciding which handset consumers choose, the big change in consumer preference we see within this survey is the importance they are placing on content,”
The survey shows how important top quality content is for most buyers when they select a new phone. For LG’s feature-packed Arena, with its applications and media content that’s easy and really simple to use, it’s a virtual endorsement.
